OUR COMPANY
Hexco Academic publishing develops and sells digital and print 'contest prep' materials. We support a variety of contests including the National Spelling Bee, National Geographic Bee, National History Bee and Bowl, Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL), North South Foundation, Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), U.S. History Bee, International History Bee and Bowl, International History Olympiad, International Geography Olympiad, Interscholastic Association (PSIA), Alabama Independent School Association (AISA), the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), STEM, and the home school and private school sectors. Catering to the niche of competitive academics from grade school to high school, we also offer spelling coaching for National Spelling Bee contestants, history coaching, and geography coaching.

Founder Linda Tarrant is the state contest director for the Texas UIL Computer Applications contest. The head of our spelling coach program, Michelle Horton, has coached numerous National Spelling Bee champions and runners-up, and many former spelling coach students now work as spelling coaches for Hexco! History coach Keisha Bedwell has coached numerous National History Bee and Bowl finalists and medalists, including a national champion.

GET PUBLISHED
We're always looking for outside writers for our UIL A+ and UIL high school product line or other contest areas that we already support. Pitch your idea using our contact form, and please be specific on your area of expertise and what you can write for us! A sample is recommended. We need full-length unique practice tests, concepts books, videos, or classroom presentations that we can sell with minimal editing. If you have competed in the National Spelling Bee, or the National History Bee or Bowl, we'd love to hear your personal story for possible publication in our next newsletter!
