PACKET 1 VS. PACKET 2 - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Practice Packet 1, which is available in fall (at the beginning of the school year) is written over the summer months before; Practice Packet 2 is available in January (at the start of the spring semester). Practice Packet 2 is comprised of tests that were used at practice meets during the fall, whereas tests in Practice Packet 1 have never been used in invitational meets.
The CI&E Practice Packets are also ideal for TAPPS CI&E study. Please note that the time allotted on TAPPS tests differs from UIL, and the point values on LitCrit tests varies. See your competition guidelines for details.
