UIL Ready Writing

In the UIL High School Ready Writing contest, students are asked to craft a well-written expository composition in two hours or less. To help coaches and students prepare for this challenging event, Hexco has compiled a Ready to Write handbook, a Ready Writing Concepts book, and numerous sets of practice tests containing examples of the types of thought-provoking prompts contestants could encounter at the invitational, district, regional, or state level.
