University Interscholastic League (UIL)

The University Interscholastic League is a non-profit organization, founded in 1909. By providing students with competitive educational experiences, the UIL assists in developing student citizenship, sportsmanship, goal-setting skills and confidence. High school offerings range from Current Issues and Events to Spelling and Vocabulary.

In addition to high school students, we all offer materials for elementary and middle school students in the following subjects: Dictionary skills, Number Sense, Ready Writing, Spelling and Vocabulary.

The dictionaries used are:

~Webster's Collegiate (private schools)

~Webster's Intermediate (public schools)
