UIL Spelling Mentor software helps ALL your spellers learn ALL the words in the UIL study list! Not designed just to test students, Mentor is an interactive tool to keep students engaged in mastering the entire Word Power list. Words are presented in difficulty sequence matching the difficulty sequenced Complements. Mentor works with students in an encouraging manner as a proficient coach would. Students hear the word spoken as the screen displays the phonetic pronunciation(s), definition(s), part(s) of speech, and sentence. Progress is tracked for up to 20 students, which allows individuals to narrow their study as they master words. Software may be installed on multiple computers at one location. Features include the ability to preview words, request next letter, and flag problematic words. Vocabulary words may be isolated to study separately, and all have etymology. A one-year extended-usage license for installing on up to five students' home or personal computers is also available.
