"Practice makes perfect" is an old adage, and this is true for all of the elements of the Journalism Contest. What better way to hone your skills than to practice those skills with prompts that have been given at invitational meets?

Journalism Practice Packets are compiled from invitational tests used at practice meets and are written by Bobby Hawthorne. Each Packet includes six tests. Practice Packets are available individually for Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Headline Writing, and News Writing. They are also available as sets.
