Spelling Mentor Sampler - The Spelling Mentor teaches spelling and builds vocabulary through an interactive software program.
Etyma Mentor Sampler - Studying the Latin and Greek root of words builds vocabulary -- a great aid for SAT preparation.
Mental Math Mentor Sampler - The ability to perfom mental math helps keep the brain nimble, and is handy when a calculator is not readily available.

Contests and Web Sites
Our products can be used to study for the following contests as well as general school academics:
AAA Travel Challenge. The competition has two tracks, one for unrestricted scholorships and the other for travel specific scholarships.
Academic Leagues.
Contests in math, science and social studies for elementary and junior high students.
National Geographic Bee. For students in 4th-8th grade. Geography is more than just maps and political boundaries and this contest is designed to encourage interest in exploring geographical relationships throughout the world (and space).
National Spelling Bee. Begun in 1925, Scripps began sponsoring it in 1941. HEXCO supplements the Scripps word list every year. This year our focus was specifically on vocabulary enriching words. A copy of that list may be found here Download Valerie's Supplement List
North South Foundation. Encouraging excellence in academics among Indo-American children in a wide variety of disiplines.
Princeton Vocabulary. A vocabulary contest with an on-line qualifying exam. This year's top prize is a $40,000 college scholorship.
Reader's Digest Word Power Challenge. Currently on-hold.
University Interscholastic League. The University Interscholastic League was created by The University of Texas at Austin. Each year thousands of Texas students participate in academic competitions in everything from Accounting to Vocabulary.
