Gokul Venkatachalam is a sophomore in high school. He competed in the National Spelling Bee four times, placing 10th, 19th, 3rd, and eventually becoming a co-champion in 2015. He is also a champion of the South Asian Spelling Bee. He has a deep passion for language patterns and roots, and uses his knowledge to help his students become the best spellers they can possibly become. Gokul participated in Hexco’s Personal Spelling Coach (PSC) program as a student and has been coaching PSC spellers for nearly a year and a half.
Snehaa Ganesh Kumar has nine years of experience in spelling bees, starting from kindergarten and continuing through 8th grade. She competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in 2015, tying for 4th place, and in 2016, she became the runner-up to the two champions! Snehaa has demonstrated a great mastery of the language during her studies for the National Spelling Bee and has enjoyed sharing her expertise by coaching PSC spellers for over year. Coaching has been her way of giving back to the spelling community and working with spellers in an area of her life that she loves.
